Total Lawn Food
Total Lawn Food 16-4-8 + Iron

- Total Lawn Food is the perfect all-purpose fertilizer for most warm- and cool-season turfgrasses. Do NOT use on TifBlair™ Centipede, due to the high rate of nitrogen (Centipede needs only 1-2 lbs. nitrogen per year, and a high rate can mean death. Use Centipede Formulation below).
- Total Lawn Food contains both soluble and slow-release fertilizers. The soluble nitrogen gives turfgrass a good boost and encourages more aggressive leaf growth. The slow release will become available to the turfgrass over time, preventing a spiking of growth in favor of a continuous, even growth pattern.
- The purpose of Total Lawn Food 16-4-8 + Iron is to replace nutrients that have been removed in a ratio that is best for the turf being grown.
- This formulation is best for actively growing warm- and cool-season turfgrasses. For fertilization of established lawns, consult our Lawn Maintenance Guides.
- When laying sod apply 15 lbs. per 1000 square feet for Zoysia, Bermuda, St. Augustine, Fescue (use the 5-10-15 formulation below for Centipede). For more information, read How to Lay Sod.
- Comes in a 20 lb. easy-to-handle bag.
Starter and Centipede Formulation (5-10-15 + Iron)

- This is a traditional fertilizer mix used for generations in farming and landscape maintenance as a starter fertilizer. This formulation, at the recommended rate, adds a small amount of nitrogen, but is higher in phosphorus and potassium.
- Phosphorus and potassium are important in early spring to encourage health and more prolific root growth in warm-season grasses.
- Applying 5-10-15 in spring to warm-season grasses such as Zoysia, Bermuda, St. Augustine, and Centipede will encourage root recovery from the winter without creating lush growth. Warm-season grasses that are lush and green too early are subject to frost damage causing delayed green-up or in worst cased dead grass. For fertilization of established lawns, consult our Lawn Maintenance Guides.
- When laying sod apply 10 lbs. per 1000 square feet for Centipede (use the 16-4-8 fomulation above for Zoysia, Bermuda, St. Augustine, Fescue). For more information, read How to Lay Sod.
- Comes in a 20 lb. easy-to-handle bag.
Pelletized Dolomitic Limestone

- Super-Sod's Pelletized Dolomitic Limestone is a dust-free, easy-to-spread limestone product that neutralizes soil acidity and is a major source of 2 secondary nutrients (calcium and magnesium).
- The need for lime should be established based on a soil test.
- Lightly rake into the surface 2 to 3 inches for best results before planting and continue to apply as soil test indicates over the top.
- Only apply lime to a Centipede lawn based on soil tests.
- Comes in 25 lb. easy-to-handle bags.
