Pre-Emergent Herbicides

Pre-emergent herbicide stops weeds before you even see them! They are the most efficient and effective way to control weeds because they zap new seed roots, killing the entire tiny weed before it has a chance to grow. Use this product in lawns, flower beds, and also gravel driveways and walkways.

Don't miss this winter application! It's critical for killing early-germinating summer weeds, such as crabgrass. The sooner you apply it in mid to late February, the better. For your winter application, choose:

• 0-0-7 + Pre-Emergent for all warm season lawns - It's low in nitrogen, so safe for Bermuda, Centipede, St. Augustine, and Zoysia.
• 16-4-8 + Pre-Emergent for Tall Fescue - Use this if you haven't already fertilized this month. If you have fertilized Tall Fescue, choose 0-0-7.
